Membership Meeting – Wednesday, Oct. 20 6:30 PM Boston Teachers Union

(Carson Place, 180 Mt. Vernon St., Dorchester)

While treating us daily with disrespect, wage-theft, and neglect for our Union contract rights, health & safety, and decades of service to the children of Boston, Transdev / BPS have not met even one of our just demands in contract negotiations, which they have dragged out for way too long with anti-union threats of concessions.

Now is the time for Union Solidarity in Action!
Like over 100,000 workers in the U.S. at greedy corporations ON STRIKE this historic “Striketober” month, the time for fruitless talking is over, and the time for preparing to hit the bricks is now.  There is NOT a national shortage of drivers who would like to work a decent, livable school bus job with retirement rights after decades of service.  In Boston, and Randolph at First Student, there is a gross shortage of wages, benefits, pandemic health & safety, proper routing, and respect from billion-dollar bosses like Transdev and their BPS clients.

Membership Meeting partial agenda:

o Contract Task Force – picket signs, Union shirts & buttons, yard rallies
o Pre-Strike Demonstration @ Transdev HQ
o Transdev’s Bogus Re-Bid

Whoever becomes mayor on Nov. 2nd, Transdev / BPS’s union-busting failure to negotiate a just contract with Local 8751 is their biggest problem to solve before the contract’s expiration on Nov. 15th.

ALL OUT to the Membership Meeting tomorrow!

Contract Justice, Now!

Retirement with Dignity!

No Concessions!
